12 - My Framework of AI Impacting Education (Copy)
AI is redefining education by shifting the focus from information absorption to collaboration with intelligent agents. Learn how this transformation impacts learning and discover strategies to thrive in this new era of education.
My Framework of AI Impacting Education
In this episode of Pattern Cognition, we explore how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing education—and what that means for learners everywhere.
Education has evolved significantly over time. It began with courses: structured environments where knowledge was imparted, and learners absorbed and applied it. The software revolution then introduced tools that automated some of these tasks, making learning more efficient and accessible.
Now, we are entering a new era where intelligent agents can perform tasks on our behalf. This shift means education is becoming less about mastering information and tools and more about understanding how to work alongside these intelligent systems.
The main question: How do we adapt to this transformation? The answer lies in developing a new skillset—one that focuses on collaboration, creativity, and strategic thinking, enabling us to direct these systems effectively.
Tune in to this episode to discover how AI is reshaping the way we learn and why the future of education isn’t just about acquiring knowledge—it’s about mastering partnerships with technology.

Here's a little framework for what I think AI is doing to education. So we started with courses. So we, in order to learn something, we needed to, you know, go and enroll in a course and learn how to do it and then go away and do it. And then we got to the software revolution where. Software begins to take on some of the role of the doing.
And now I think we're getting to the culmination of that revolution where, um, so we can now have agents help us to do the things that we would have software do to us not needing to even do it ourselves because the agent can do it. And what does that mean for education? I think education becomes less about information, less about data and insights, and more about how to work with the machines so that they can do what we want them to do.
Do you agree?
