I love dukas. If you don't know what a duka is, let me explain. A duka is a little shop, usually no much bigger than double my hand span. You walk into it and it has the shopkeeper there and they literally have everything that they're selling. When you typically know a shopkeeper, of course this is in Africa, it's the fundamental unit of commerce, I say, in Africa.

And there's literally thousands of them. I think the dukkha has a special place, not only in your growing up as a person in Africa, but in The African continent as a whole, they're a holder of the social fabric, but also the fundamental way that business gets done. And I also think that studying Dukas and understanding how Dukas work and how Dukas support livelihoods across literally millions of people is a study worth making.

If you're interested, let me know, we can put it together maybe.
